Vietnamese Language Class Registration

The Weekend Vietnamese Program teaches the Vietnamese language and cultural traditions for children from 5 through 12 with special exceptions for ages up to 15.

Lớp Đàn Tranh - Vietnamese Zither Class

Tìm Hiểu Âm Nhạc Truyền Thống

Trong mục đích bảo tồn và giới thiệu âm nhạc truyền thống dân tộc, Trung tâm Âu Cơ giới thiệu lớp học đàn tranh cơ bản mới, dành cho người mới bắt đầu. Chỉ thu nhận học viên từ 6 tuổi trở lên, và giới hạn 5 học viên cho mỗi lớp.

Năm nay trường có hai lớp học cho mỗi thứ bảy bắt đầu từ ngày 16 tháng 2.
Lớp A, từ 8:35 – 9:10 sáng.
Lớp B, từ 12:45-1:30 trưa.

Lớp học do nhạc sư Võ Vân-Ánh phụ trách với sự trợ giáo của nhóm Đàn Tranh Sử Việt. Cô Vân Ánh đã dạy đàn tranh và đàn bầu tại Trung Tâm Văn Hóa Âu Cơ trong năm năm qua. Hằng năm cô dẫn dắt nhóm “Đàn Tranh Sử Việt”biểu diễn khắp nơi trong nước như Thi Ca & Sử Việt tại Legion of Honors, Oakland Symphony Paramount Theater, The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. v.v..

Liên hoan Tết vào ngày thứ bảy, 2 tháng 2, 2019 tại hội trường, trường MLK, từ 9:30 AM đến 12:30 PM. Văn nghệ do toàn thể học sinh, giáo viên và nhóm Thanh Thiếu Niên thực hiện. Sau chương trình sẽ có lì xì cho học sinh, trò chơi có thưởng, hát với nhau và ăn trưa.
